Olivier Poncet, new SPBAA president

𝗔 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀.
During the recent General Assembly of the SPBAA | Spanish Business Aviation Association, the association welcomed a new Board of Directors to lead the organization into its next phase of growth and influence.
At the forefront of this change is Olivier Poncet, founder and CEO of AVIATION PASIPHAE and Business Development Director at Heron Aviation España, who has been appointed President of SPBAA.
With over 25 years of experience in aviation, infrastructure strategy, and business development, Olivier brings a rare combination of industry insight, institutional understanding, and European vision. His leadership is set to reinforce SPBAA’s strategic role as the voice of business aviation in Spain — and its bridge to Brussels.
Under the new board, SPBAA is embracing ambitious objectives for 2025–2026:

𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗣𝗕𝗔𝗔 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆.
2024 marked a pivotal year for the association, with the “Flying into the Future” forum, record membership growth, and a stronger presence in European industry forums. Now, SPBAA is doubling down on its mission: defend the sector, amplify its value, and connect professionals across Spain and Europe.

La aviación ejecutiva en España despega hacia una nueva etapa.
En la reciente Asamblea General de la Spanish Business Aviation Association (SPBAA) se ha renovado la Junta Directiva para liderar los próximos desafíos del sector. Al frente de esta nueva etapa está Olivier Poncet, fundador y CEO de Aviation Pasiphae y Director de Desarrollo de Negocio en Heron Aviation España, quien ha sido nombrado Presidente de SPBAA.
Con más de 25 años de experiencia en aviación, desarrollo aeroportuario y estrategia institucional, Olivier representa una visión integradora, técnica y profundamente europea. Su nombramiento refuerza la apuesta de SPBAA por consolidarse como el interlocutor clave de la aviación ejecutiva en España y como nexo con Bruselas.
La nueva Junta Directiva asume ambiciosos retos para 2025–2026:
Reforzar los lazos institucionales con la administración española
Crear grupos de trabajo centrados en seguridad, infraestructuras y formación
Ampliar su base de miembros y forjar nuevas alianzas estratégicas
Liderar la agenda de sostenibilidad e innovación
Impulsar la presencia de España en eventos internacionales como EBACE
Extender el ámbito de actuación de la SPBAA a todo el territorio nacional.
2024 fue un año decisivo para SPBAA, con el foro “Flying into the Future”, el mayor crecimiento de socios hasta la fecha y una proyección europea consolidada. En 2025, SPBAA redobla su compromiso con el sector: defender sus intereses, amplificar su valor y construir comunidad.
