During the recent General Assembly of the SPBAA | Spanish Business Aviation Association, the association welcomed a new Board of Directors to lead the organization into its next phase of growth and influence.
At the forefront of this change is Olivier Poncet, founder and CEO of AVIATION PASIPHAE and Business Development Director at Heron Aviation Espaรฑa, who has been appointed President of SPBAA.
With over 25 years of experience in aviation, infrastructure strategy, and business development, Olivier brings a rare combination of industry insight, institutional understanding, and European vision. His leadership is set to reinforce SPBAAโs strategic role as the voice of business aviation in Spain โ and its bridge to Brussels.

2024 marked a pivotal year for the association, with the โFlying into the Futureโ forum, record membership growth, and a stronger presence in European industry forums. Now, SPBAA is doubling down on its mission: defend the sector, amplify its value, and connect professionals across Spain and Europe.

La aviaciรณn ejecutiva en Espaรฑa despega hacia una nueva etapa.
En la reciente Asamblea General de la Spanish Business Aviation Association (SPBAA) se ha renovado la Junta Directiva para liderar los prรณximos desafรญos del sector. Al frente de esta nueva etapa estรก Olivier Poncet, fundador y CEO de Aviation Pasiphae y Director de Desarrollo de Negocio en Heron Aviation Espaรฑa, quien ha sido nombrado Presidente de SPBAA.
Con mรกs de 25 aรฑos de experiencia en aviaciรณn, desarrollo aeroportuario y estrategia institucional, Olivier representa una visiรณn integradora, tรฉcnica y profundamente europea. Su nombramiento refuerza la apuesta de SPBAA por consolidarse como el interlocutor clave de la aviaciรณn ejecutiva en Espaรฑa y como nexo con Bruselas.
La nueva Junta Directiva asume ambiciosos retos para 2025โ2026:
Reforzar los lazos institucionales con la administraciรณn espaรฑola
Crear grupos de trabajo centrados en seguridad, infraestructuras y formaciรณn
Ampliar su base de miembros y forjar nuevas alianzas estratรฉgicas
Liderar la agenda de sostenibilidad e innovaciรณn
Impulsar la presencia de Espaรฑa en eventos internacionales como EBACE
Extender el รกmbito de actuaciรณn de la SPBAA a todo el territorio nacional.
2024 fue un aรฑo decisivo para SPBAA, con el foro โFlying into the Futureโ, el mayor crecimiento de socios hasta la fecha y una proyecciรณn europea consolidada. En 2025, SPBAA redobla su compromiso con el sector: defender sus intereses, amplificar su valor y construir comunidad.
